Halloween winner

Congratulations to Faye Billington who’s “Blood Brooch” is the winner of our Halloween jewellery competition.

We were very impressed with the drama of the blood drops and the clever use of polymer clay. It must look stunning on.

Faye has won a jewellery making bundle from Beads Direct worth over £100 – we look forward to seeing what she comes up with from that.

You can see the collection of bats and skulls and other scary items that made up the entries on our Facebook page.

Time to get spooky with our October competition

Grace and Firefly jewellery

Inspired by the autumnal weather and this bat by Chu-Mei Ho of Grace and Firefly, an LJS tutor, this month we want to see your Halloween inspired jewellery.

It could be colours, shapes or inspirations.

Entering couldn’t be simpler. Explain why or how your piece invokes the spookiest time of the year and send a picture of it to press@londonjewelleryschool.co.uk. We’ll publish the picture in our facebook page gallery along with links to any website or social media info you give us.

Watch this space for more details of the great jewellery-making prize, worth more than £100,  for this competition from our sponsor Beads Direct – there’s so much in it, it deserves a post all its own.

And the closing date…

…Well midnight on Halloween of course.
