Pompom jewellery and London Jewellery School at the Handmade Fair

This weekend the London Jewellery School team will be running the jewellery workshops at The Handmade Fair at Hampton Court. You can find us in the jewellery tent next to the Shopping Village West section. And look out for LJS founder Jessica Rose signing copies of her book, Bead and Wire Fashion Jewelry, as well as demonstrating projects from the book, at the GMC stand (A29 in the Shopping Village East tent).

This is a very exciting event bringing all sorts of crafts together through workshops, stalls, talks and even a world record attempt. The Handmade Fair is hoping to break the record for creating the longest line of pompoms. In honour of this, we have taken a look at Pompom jewellery.

Fashion designers are drawn to the bold statements you can achieve with pompoms, such as the Matthew Williamson bracelet. Find a tutorial for chain and cord bracelets here – and add a pompom trim to create your own designer look.
