Great British Bake Off inspired jewellery

The Great British Bake off is back. Many of us here at LJS watch it avidly. But perhaps you, like us, need to watch how many cakes and biscuits you eat (we do have our luxury biscuits from Konditor and Cook tempting us here). So our thoughts have turned to bakery-inspired jewellery.

Usually made from polymer clay, these cute mini sculptures look so realistic and good enough to eat (but please don’t try, they would break your teeth!). Polymer clay is inexpensive and fun to play around with.

Here are a few lovely examples of gorgeous charms and necklaces. If you are feeling inspired and would like to learn how to make sweetie jewellery like the Oreo cookie necklace below consider joining our ‘taster’ class, How to make sweetie jewellery.
