Last year tutor Anna Campbell wrote a series of posts to prepare you for your Christmas sales. Now she’s back with a quick reminder of some new year jewellery business tasks.
I hope you had a bumper Christmas of sales.
January tends to be a quieter time so hopefully you’ll have a bit of breathing space to think about the following:
1. Remember to update online listings that you have for your jewellery, particularly if you made any Christmas announcements. It puts buyers off if your online shop is still listing Christmas posting dates
2. You will have noticed that the shops are already selling Valentines day, Easter and Mother’s day products. I suspect most of your items will make excellent gifts for these occasions so consider updating your listings to say ‘perfect Mother’s day gift’, ‘thoughtful Valentines gift’ or ‘a great alternative to chocolate this Easter’
3. Consider creating a spring/summer range if you haven’t before. It is helpful to focus your creativity and helps to keep your online shop/market stall fresh
