It’s that time of year again and we are super excited to be running our annual student competition. Taking part is a great chance to promote your work, get exposure and of course bag some fab prizes. Linda Jones – Wire Jewellery Masterclass Confirmed
International wire jewellery expert and writer of 8 top-selling bead and wire jewellery books, Linda Jones is coming to LJS this Autumn to run a much anticipated 2-day masterclass in wire jewellery. This is a unique opportunity for our students to access more excellent tuition and build on techniques from our regular beading and wire classes. Not too be missed! Student Spotlight

We are so proud of LJS student Mary-ann Nelson who has attended a range of classes with us for the launch of her lovely new websitewww.zaradesigns.com packed full of stunning pieces made from metal clay and polymer clay. She is now selling her work online via her Etsy store take a look for some great jewellery and inspiration.

Thanks to everyone who came along to our open evening earlier this month. It was a huge sucess with over 70 prospective students popping through to say hi, meet some of the tutors and take a look around the studio. Opportunity: Photographer Looking for Jewellery

Damian Kruhelski is a student photographer interested in taking some photographs of jewellery to build up his still life portfolio. He has kindly offered to take pictures for free for LJS students which could then be used for advertising and promotion of your work. Bye bye Julia

As many of you may know this month we said farewell to our General Manager, Julia Patterson who has moved to take up an exciting position at Heal’s department store. After over a year at LJS we are sad to see her go but happy for her that she is moving on. We are super excited that our lovely Press and Finance Co-ordinator Natasha Sutila has now filled the postion as our new General Manager! Onwards an upwards for all 🙂
